With a lifetime's experience of learning a wide range of languages, and over 10 years' experience working as a professional marketing translator, both in-house and freelance, both in the Netherlands and the UK, my offering is fairly unique in the sector. 

I translate from Dutch, French and German into flawless English - although as a life-long language-learning enthusiast I also have several other language pairs which I develop in my free time. In total I have a knowledge of seven languages, but it is Dutch, French and German in which I am truly specialised.

In terms of source texts: I am a highly established marketing and communications specialist, with natural flair for persuasive copy, websites, correspondence, employee-facing, press-facing and customer-facing material, plus more informative and creative texts. 

Additionally, through my postgraduate studies and personal interests, I have in-depth knowledge of the histories of various European countries plus the effects of railways, motoring, aviation and other aspects of transport history.
